It’s looking awfully familiar, the waiting game is in full effect again. The civil appeal verdict should have been more then 2 weeks ago, but without a word from the court, it looks like it’s postponed for an unspecified time. Unsurprisingly, the DoJ appeal resume has also been delayed from 27th January to 14th of April 2010.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, an independent investigation should be done by an expert about disabling upload. Last January, Johan Pouwelse from the TU Delft got assigned for this task. According to his profile, he definitely looks like the right person for the right job. He will be answering some questions about different methods of disabling the upload, some questions regarding eMule and it’s many variants (mods).

On April 14th, Johan will be questioned and he will have the chance to clarify his rapport. I, with the former ShareConnector ISP and the usual R4U crew will be there as well. Furthermore, the public prosecutor will bring his demands while the lawyers will argue the case. 14 days later arrives the final judgment.
